The series V200.1/221 is an advancement of the V 200. The first locomotive was delivered to the DB in 1962. The last exemplars were decommissioned at the Bw Oberhausen 1 in 1988 for the sommer schedule. The universal locomotive had a power output of 2.700 PS. With that it could pull the most diverse train types. It became famous for its express train service at the “Vogelfluglinie” or at the mountainous Black Forrest Railway. At the end of its ‘career’ the husky locomotives also pulled freight trains in the Ruhrgebiet. One time anniversary offer. Limited edition !
